With the VCT 2025 Season now underway, VALORANT is introducing the all new VCT 2025 Season Capsule to the game. This new capsule will allow you to represent the VCT region you support, as well as show off your love for the highest tier of competitive VALORANT.

What's in the VCT 2025 Season Capsule?

The new VCT Season Capsule coming to VALORANT will include all of the following:

  • VCT Karambit
  • Four Regional Player Cards
  • Four Gun Buddies

Taking center stage with the new capsule will be the new karambit melee skin, which will allow you to represent the VCT region you support as well as show off your love for competitive VALORANT.

The new VCT Karambit will feature five chromas in total, making it the first skin in the game to do so. These chromas will include one for each VCT region (orange for the Americas, green of EMEA, red for China, and blue for the Pacific), as well as one additional silver chroma that will serve to represent the VCT theme as a whole (you know, in case you happen to hold no allegiance).

When Does the VCT 2025 Season Capsule Release?

You will be able to get your hands on this year's VCT Season Capsule and the new karambit knife as soon as the capsule launches around the world on Thursday, February 6th, at 2 pm PT / 11 pm CET.

Once it releases, the VCT 2025 Season Capsule will be available for purchase from the in-game store, and will remain there until the end of VALORANT Masters Bangkok. So, make sure you go out there and grab the new karambit while you can in order to represent your region every time you load up for a match!

The price of the new capsule is yet to be officially announced by Riot Games. So, stay tuned for further updates on the cost of the VCT 2025 Season Capsule.

Supporting All VCT teams

The new 2025 VCT Season Capsule promises to be a great new way to support top-tier VALORANT. Unlike the VCT Team Capsules, a portion of proceeds from the new VCT Season Capsule will find its way back to each and every single team across all of the VCT, with proceeds being split evenly across every league.

While esports cosmetics in VALORANT generated over $44 million USD for VCT partnered teams in 2024 alone, Riot Games noticed that teams with larger fanbases were benefitting considerably more from VCT Team Capsules sales. Now, the new Season Capsule will help support VCT teams more evenly, while still allowing players to represent their region in-game if they so choose with the new VCT Karambit knife skin, as well as the new Gun Buddies.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
