LOUD Confirms VCT Americas 2027 Partnership One Day After Champions Win
LOUD has officially confirmed that it will remain a VCT Americas partner for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The Brazilian organization announced its place in Riot Games' next partnership cycle on Monday (October 19), just one day after winning VALORANT Champions 2026 and becoming the first two-time world champion in the game's history.
The announcement comes as Riot Games prepares to introduce a new partnership system featuring eight organizations per international league, down from ten in the current format. LOUD has been part of VCT Americas since the league launched in 2023 and will continue as a partner for another two years.
LOUD Announces VCT 2027 Partnership After Winning Champions
In a statement published on X, LOUD celebrated both its return to the top of international VALORANT and its continued participation in Riot Games' partnership program.
The organization described the announcement as a new chapter while emphasizing that its commitment to representing Brazil at the highest level remains unchanged.
"A new LOUD, a new chapter, and the same commitment to representing Brazil at the highest level," the organization wrote.
LOUD also highlighted the significance of becoming a two-time world champion before officially confirming its selection as one of Riot Games' VALORANT partners.
"It's not about how far we've come, but about where we intend to stay: at the top," the statement continued.
The announcement marks another milestone for the Brazilian organization, which has now secured its place in the VCT partnership program through 2028.
LOUD Becomes VCT Partner One Day After Second World Title
The confirmation arrived just 24 hours after LOUD defeated Team Vitality 3-1 in the VALORANT Champions 2026 grand final, held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China.
The victory made LOUD the first organization to win VALORANT Champions twice, four years after claiming its first world title against OpTic Gaming in Istanbul in 2022.
None of the players from the 2022 championship roster were part of the lineup that lifted the trophy in Shanghai. The new squad featured Lucca "lukxo" Travaioli, Enzo "tkzin" Zimiani, Roberto "erde" Lobos, Sebastián "Darker" Castro Cicuamia, and David "DaviH" Cruz.
With an average age of 20 years, five months, and seven days, the roster also became the youngest team to win VALORANT Champions. Captain erde, aged 18, was named the tournament's MVP, becoming the youngest player to receive the award.
The world championship marked a major turnaround for LOUD, which had missed Champions 2025 before rebuilding its roster and returning to the top of international competition in 2026.
What Does LOUD's VCT Americas 2027 Partnership Mean?
Riot Games is restructuring the VALORANT Champions Tour in 2027, reducing the number of partnered organizations from ten to eight per international league. Across Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China, the new two-year cycle will feature 32 partnered teams.
As a partnered organization, LOUD will continue receiving financial support and access to revenue-sharing opportunities, including earnings from in-game Team Capsules. The partnership also provides direct entry into Kickoff under the new competitive system.
However, the 2027 format will also open more opportunities for non-partnered organizations. Teams outside the partnership program will be able to compete through open qualifiers for places in regional tournaments and international competitions.
LOUD's announcement confirms its participation in the new cycle, while the complete official list of partnered organizations across the four international leagues has yet to be published by Riot Games.
