Caedrel and co. have done it again! Though the path through the NLC Spring 2025 may have been slightly bumpier than last time, Los Ratones went on to sweep the Finals all the same to lift their second NLC trophy in as many tournaments.

Now, attending as the NLC's first seed, the back-to-back champions will be eager to pull off the same feat at the coming EMEA Masters Spring 2025.

Champions... Despite a Scare

Composed of former LEC Champions and emerging talent, this Los Ratones roster was built for success. That's why it came as a shock when the team went on to lose their second match of these Spring Playoffs in what was the first match loss of the year in the NLC for the squad. And the team that took them down? None other than their eventual Finals rivals of NORD Esports.

It comes as no surprise, then, that Los Ratones showed up utterly fired up to the Finals, ready to become the champions and make a statement in the process. Despite losing 0-2 the first time they met in the Playoffs, these Finals could not have gone more differently for Los Ratones.

In a series that was marked by bloody, relentless action, Los Ratones went on to win all of the crucial fights to sweep the Finals largely off the back of a stellar performance by the rising star in the jungle, Veljko "Velja" Čamdžić.

On to EMEA Masters

After going through an extended run through the Lower Bracket of the NLC Playoffs, and putting on a widely entertaining Grand Finals, the team will have little time to rest. If Los Ratones want to become back-to-back champions of not just the NLC, but the entire European Tier-2 scene, then the time to lock in is now.

The EMEA Masters Spring 2025 tournament will crank it up a notch when it kicks off this Tuesday, June 3rd, offering Los Ratones a chance to extend their historic run.
