The 2026 League of Legends World Championship is just around the corner, which means it is time to start making your predictions. With Pick’Ems and the Crystal Ball opening on October 10, it is time to put your League of Legends knowledge to the test and earn in-game rewards.

When does the Worlds 2026 Crystal Ball Open?

The LoL Worlds 2026 Crystal Ball opens on October 10 at 4 p.m. PT.

The Crystal Ball will close right before the first Play-Ins match on October 15 and will not reopen afterward, so make sure to lock in all your answers before the deadline.

Crystal Ball Questions

The Crystal Ball questions remain the same throughout the competition and cover all stages. Keep in mind that your predictions should be based on the tournament as a whole, rather than any specific stage.

Here are all the Crystal Ball questions for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship:

  • Which champion will have the highest Presence (pct of games picked or banned) across all drafts?
  • Which champion will have the highest Win Rate (min 5 games played)?
  • Which champion will have the highest average Deaths per Game (min 5 games played)?
  • Which pro will finish with the highest average KDA?
  • Which pro will finish with the highest average Damage per Game?
  • Which pro will finish with the highest average Kill Participation ((Kills + Assists) / Team Kills)?
  • Peyz vs Gumayusi: Who will finish with more total Kills?
  • Will Faker reach 700 career Worlds Kills this year? Career entering this Worlds: 616 Kills in 10 appearances
  • Will Teemo be picked at least once?
  • How many unique champions will be picked?
  • Will more games finish before or after the 32-minute mark?
  • Will we see any pro get at least 15 kills in a single game?
  • Will we see any pro reach a Creep Score (CS) of at least 450 in a single game?
  • What will be the role of the Finals MVP winner?
  • How many different regions will be represented in Knockouts? 8 teams will qualify for Knockouts
  • Will a team from LCS reach Knockouts?
  • Which team will place higher: HLE or T1?
  • Which team will win the shortest game (duration)?

Strafe's Picks: Worlds 2026 Crystal Ball

For the initial questions, champions like Jarvan IV, Poppy, and Vi are strong choices, as all three are currently prominent in the competitive meta.

For the most-picked and most-banned categories, junglers are particularly worth considering, as they tend to be highly contested picks due to their versatility and ability to fit into a wide range of team compositions.

Kim “Peyz” Soo-hwan is one of the most explosive AD carries in the world right now, making him a strong candidate for the highest average damage per game and other damage-related statistics.

For Kill Participation, Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon is another interesting option, as the mid laner is often involved in skirmishes and plays across the map, giving him plenty of opportunities to contribute to his team's kills.

Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s record will be difficult to surpass in a single edition, as a player would need to secure 84 kills to break it. T1 will also skip the Play-In stage, meaning the team will have fewer opportunities to accumulate kills overall.

As for the remaining questions, Teemo is unlikely to be picked again, while the number of unique champions played will probably fall between 105 and 109, although it could be slightly higher.

For the teams reaching Knockouts, the predictions will largely depend on how much faith we have in Western teams to make it through.

There are several strong AD carries who could be potential Finals MVPs, with both established stars and younger talents in contention.

For the question about which team will finish higher between Hanwha Life Esports and T1, T1 could be the safer choice given its strong international record, particularly at Worlds.

As for the shortest game, picking a Korean team could be a good option, as LCK teams often look to establish early leads and close out matches efficiently against teams from other regions.

What to Consider When Making Your Crystal Ball Picks

Normally, players base their predictions on the current meta, which isn't necessarily a bad approach. Some champions will naturally be stronger than others, but Fearless Draft makes these predictions much more difficult, as champions can only be picked once during a series.

Some champions, however, remain a constant presence in the competitive scene. Champions such as Xin Zhao, Renata Glasc, Bard, Orianna, Ryze, Kalista, Renekton, and Pantheon are frequently picked across series, making them worth considering when making your predictions.

For player-based predictions, keep in mind that ADCs typically lead in metrics such as CS and damage dealt. Therefore, if a question asks for the player with the highest CS or most damage, ADCs are generally worth considering first.

The same applies to team-based predictions. Teams like T1 and other Korean contenders, such as Hanwha Life Esports, often lead the statistics, particularly in areas such as unique champions played, Elder Dragon kills, and game duration.

As some of the strongest teams in the competition, they are also more likely to play deeper into the tournament and accumulate more games, which can give them an advantage in these categories.

These tips can help guide your predictions, but keep in mind that they are still just predictions, and a lot can change throughout the competition.

How Scoring Works

Each correct answer awards points, with the payout depending on how difficult the question is judged to be. More predictable questions will award fewer points, while harder-to-predict answers will be worth more.

The exact point values vary between events, so we will only know how many points each question is worth once Riot Games opens the Crystal Ball challenge.

There is no penalty for incorrect answers, so make sure to answer every question. Leaving a question blank guarantees zero points for that prediction.

Worlds 2026 Crystal Ball Rewards

Players can earn five different rewards across multiple tiers, depending on how accurately they predict the outcomes of their Crystal Ball picks.

  • Participation: Best Buds Icon
  • Top 50%: ALL ABOARD Icon
  • Top 25%: Spa Day Emote
  • Top 5,000: True Damage Yasuo and Yasuo champion shard

Players who finish in the top 5,000 will receive all rewards from the lower tiers as well, with the same system applying to the other ranking brackets.
