Riot Games is ringing in the Lunar New Year with the Helix Bundle, a sleek snake-themed collection to honor the Year of the Snake in 2025. Packed with venomous designs and a groundbreaking new cosmetic, here’s everything you need to know about the bundle.

What’s in the Helix Skin Bundle?

The Helix Skin Bundle is a half bundle, offering fewer skins but making up for it with unique flair. Here’s what’s included:

  • Phantom Skin: A dynamic, snake-inspired design with glowing accents.
  • Spectre Skin: Compact and stylish, perfect for close-quarters combat.
  • Melee: A serpent-scale-themed, dual-wield knife that matches the aesthetic of the finisher.
  • Cosmetics: Expected sprays, player cards, and gun buddies to match the theme.

Variants and Finisher Animation

The Helix skins come in three confirmed color variants—red, white, and green. The finisher animation is truly unique: a snake-like construct coils around the final enemy’s body, lifting them into the air as its head turns to face you, adding a touch of eerie interaction.

Introducing the Snake Flex

The Helix Bundle debuts a new Flex item, a robotic snake that coils around your arm. Though purely cosmetic, it’s a stylish addition to your arsenal. This is the third-ever flex item being introduced to the game, after the default and the snowflake. It will also be the first flex item to be included in a bundle.

Release Date and Pricing

The Helix Bundle is rumored to launch alongside or just after the Year of the Snake event on January 24, 2025, coinciding with Patch 10.01. Pricing is estimated between 6,100–6,800 VP, aligning with similar bundles in the past.

Whether you’re a fan of snake motifs or just want to flex the latest cosmetics, the Helix Skin Bundle offers a unique way to celebrate the Year of the Snake.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
