As we get ready to start the Esports World Cup Week 5, the excitement continues to build. This week, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will host three thrilling competitions featuring Honor of Kings, Rainbow Six Siege, and Apex Legends. Here’s a comprehensive summary of what to expect in Week 5 of EWC 2024.

Rainbow Six Siege

The R6S tournament at EWC will feature 16 teams from around the world in a double-elimination group stage format. The top four teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will also follow a knockout format with best-of-three matches, except for the grand finals which will be best-of-five.

Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason x Esports World Cup

The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason will feature 12 top-tier teams from around the globe, competing in a single round-robin format. The teams are divided into two groups of six, with the top four from each group advancing to an eight-team knockout bracket. The knockout stages will include best-of-three matches for the quarterfinals and best-of-five matches for the semifinals and finals.

  • France: Team Vitality;
  • Indonesia: KAGENDRA;

  • SEA: BOOM Esports;

Exclusive Content: A new Honor of Kings skin called Heavenblade for Allain and a theme song titled “Invincible” are being released to celebrate the event.

Esports World Cup: Apex Legends

The Apex Legends tournament will bring together 40 of the top teams in a two-group format, with 20 teams in each group. The top nine teams from each group will advance to the finals, while the 10th-19th place teams will enter the Last Chance round. The Last Chance round will see 20 teams compete, with the top two advancing to the finals, making a total of 20 teams in the final stage.
