The whole tournament followed the same scoring system.

The top 64 teams with top scores made it to the Closed Qualifiers. The top 10 best team performances were considered for the team's qualification. These 64 teams were divided into four groups for the closed qualifier. Only 32 teams made it to day two of the Closed qualifiers, and only 16 qualified for the main stage.

The participating teams played the qualification stage on five maps of the eight total maps. You can check out the detailed format and the 16 qualified teams here.

The Main Stage included 16 qualified teams divided into groups of eight paired with six invited CDL teams and two Activision-invited teams.
