For a second year, Call of Duty is back at Esports World Cup (EWC). Starting July 24th, 16 teams will clash in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for $1.8 million and Club Championship points.

Let's dive into what the tournament has in store for us!

Format, Teams, and Groups

The tournament features 16 teams (11 CDL teams + 5 DreamHack Dallas Open qualified teams) playing two stages: Group Stage & Playoffs.

Group Stage

  • 16 participating teams divided into 4 groups
  • Every group plays double-elimination bracket
  • Two teams per group qualify for Playoffs
  • All games are Bo5
  • The four groups are as follows:

Schedule and Fixtures

The tournament kicks off July 24th. The overall schedule for the tournament is as follows:

  • Thursday, July 24th: Group Stage Day 1
  • Friday, July 25th: Group Stage Day 2
  • Saturday, July 26th: Quarterfinals
  • Sunday, July 27th: Semifinals, Third-place decider, Grand Finals

Where to Watch

The EWC Call of Duty Action will be will be livestreamed on the official Twitch and YouTube channels of the Esports World Cup, starting Thursday, July 24th.

The Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC) had its grand launch on July 8, commemorating the official start of the event with an opening press conference at the Hotel de Ville in the heart of Paris.
