Bwipo's time in Brazil could come to an end after the 2026 season. Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau, who won the Circuito Desafiante undefeated with Estral, indicated that remaining in Brazil in 2027 is not his main plan and revealed that returning to the LEC remains one of his biggest goals.

Bwipo made the comments on the MD3 Podcast when asked about the possibility of staying in Brazil next season.

"I don't think so. They shouldn't expect that. I said exactly the same thing at Estral. My biggest goal is to retire in the LEC because I've never won the LEC against Caps, and that's something I want to be able to say I did in my life. I played a final in 2021 and knocked him and G2 out when I was playing jungle for Fnatic, but I've never won an LEC while Caps was in Europe, and that's something I really want to do."

Returning to the LEC Is Bwipo's Priority

His desire to return to Europe is directly tied to Rasmus "Caps" Winther. Bwipo and Caps were teammates on Fnatic before the mid laner moved to G2 Esports, and the Belgian has made winning a European title with the Dane as an opponent one of his career goals.

That does not mean Brazil is completely out of the picture, however. In the same answer, Bwipo praised the competitive level of the CBLOL and explained that he sees the region as an alternative if he cannot return to the LEC or does not receive another offer that interests him.

"I want to play in the LEC, but when I can't play there and there's nowhere else that interests me as much, I absolutely look at the CBLOL. I think the CBLOL has very strong players; everyone got to see that when FURIA played Cloud9 and LOS played LYON."

"The CBLOL isn't bad. It's a good place to play, with good players and good teams. For this year, I'm not going to say, 'Yes, I'm definitely going to play in the CBLOL,' but it's a possibility. I don't like promising something I'm not going to do."

Bwipo's last stint in the LEC came in 2021, when he played jungle for Fnatic. The Belgian reached the final of the second split after a run that included eliminating G2 Esports, but finished as runner-up after a 3-1 loss to MAD Lions.

Bwipo Finished Circuito Desafiante Without Losing a Game

Bwipo joined Estral for the second split of Circuito Desafiante 2026 and finished his first competition in Brazil with a perfect run. The team ended the regular season with nine wins from nine matches and remained undefeated throughout the playoffs.

In the Grand Final, played on September 14, Estral defeated KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas 3-0 to win the title. Across the regular season and playoffs, the team recorded 19 games and 19 wins without dropping a single map during the competition.

The title does not yet guarantee Estral a place in the CBLOL in 2027. The organization will compete in the CBLOL 2027 Promotion Tournament, which brings together five teams fighting for next season's Guest Team slot. Estral's opening match is scheduled for September 29 against 9z Globant.

So even if the team earns promotion, Bwipo's place on the roster in 2027 is far from guaranteed. The top laner has made the LEC his priority for the next stage of his career, while also leaving the door open to remaining in the Brazilian scene if his plans in Europe do not materialize.
