One of the biggest tournament of the year, Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup 2024 is just around the corner. Regional qualifiers are currently underway, With the Brazil qualifiers  concluding over the weekend.

With the numerous trophies already in lining up their cabinet, they will be looking to make room for one more as they send their strongest representative to compete against the world.

After a rigorous series of qualifiers, eight teams emerged from the open qualifiers to compete in the closed qualifiers:

The closed qualifiers were a double-elimination format, with each match being a best-of-three series. The competition was fierce, with every team vying for one of the four coveted spots to represent Brazil at the EWC.

The Four Horsemen

FaZe Clan was the first team to secure their spot. Their journey began with a challenging 2-0 victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas in the Upper Bracket Round 1, where both maps extended into overtime. The intensity continued in Round 2 against Fluxo, where all three maps went into overtime, but FaZe managed to clinch the series 2-1, sealing their qualification.

w7m Esports was the second team to qualify, showcasing resilience and skill. They faced E1 Sports in Round 1, winning a hard-fought 2-1 series. In Round 2, they had a smoother path, defeating Black Dragons 2-0 and securing their spot alongside FaZe Clan in the EWC.

Team Liquid claimed the third qualification spot. After being knocked down to the Lower Bracket by Fluxo, they faced Ninjas in Pyjamas and emerged victorious with a 2-1 win. In the subsequent match against Black Dragons, Team Liquid showcased their prowess with a decisive 2-0 victory, earning their place in the EWC.

FURIA Esports (previously w7m), the reigning Six Invitational Champions, claimed the final spot. Despite an early setback against Black Dragons, FURIA embarked on an impressive Lower Bracket run. They dominated E1 Sports with a 2-0 win and replicated this performance against Fluxo, securing the last spot for the EWC.

As Brazil sends these formidable teams to Riyadh for the Esports World Cup, the excitement among fans is palpable. Known as one of, if not the most competitive regions in Rainbow Six Esports, Brazil’s representatives are expected to deliver high-level gameplay and thrilling matches, promising an unforgettable experience for esports enthusiasts worldwide.
