BLG Lift Their Third Trophy of the Year at the LPL 2026 Split 2

Can anyone stop Bilibili Gaming? The Chinese powerhouse tore through Top Esports in the Grand Finals of the LPL 2026 Split 2, making it their third consecutive trophy of the year as they head to MSI as perhaps the biggest favorites to win it all.

BLG's Terrifying Form

Somehow, Team WE turned out to be the only squad to give BLG any trouble at these LPL playoffs. BLG put up a 12-1 run through the playoffs against teams not named WE, including three effortless clean sweeps.

At the Split 2 Grand Finals, TES simply didn't stand a chance. BLG's individuals were on form throughout the series, consistently outplaying their opponents at every stop. In the end, what promised to be an exciting series to conclude the split saw BLG come away with yet another trophy after just 93 minutes of play.

BLG are yet to lose a tournament this year after winning both LPL splits as well as First Stand back in March, and now look poised to extend their reign of terror at MSI 2026 in South Korea. Can BLG make it 4 for 4, or will an LCK team have something to say about it on home ground?

A Knight in Shining Armor

The reigning LPL MVP, Zhuo "knight" Ding, was undoubtedly the star of these Grand Finals. The Chinese Mid Laner has been in spectacular form all year long, and this time was no different as knight amassed a total of 25 kills throughout the series to lead his team to the title.

BLG knight

With an incredible combined KDA of 25/5/30 against Top Esports, knight was named Finals MVP of the LPL 2026 Split 2. That makes two MVP awards for knight in the space of two weeks. Talk about a confidence boost before MSI...
