After two days of intense competition in Madrid, Atlanta FaZe emerged victorious at the Call of Duty League 2025 Major 1, defeating Los Angeles Thieves in a grueling final. Their triumph in the Spanish capital solidifies their dominance in the competitive Call of Duty scene.

A Flawless Run to the Title

At first glance, Atlanta FaZe's victory might seem effortless, as they played only four matches throughout the tournament. However, this was a testament to their sheer dominance.

They kicked off their campaign with a swift victory over Boston Breach, making it clear that they were in top form. Their momentum continued as they steamrolled Toronto Ultra, further proving their superiority.

The Upper Bracket Final saw them face their toughest challenge yet: a similarly dominant LA Thieves. In a hard-fought battle, FaZe secured the win, sending the Thieves to the Lower Bracket.

LA Thieves fought back and won the Lower Bracket Final, setting up an exciting rematch in the Grand Final. However, Atlanta FaZe once again came out on top, cementing themselves as the champions of the Stage 1 Major.

Accolades

This victory marks Atlanta FaZe's second trophy of the year, having already claimed the Call of Duty League 2025: Minor 1. Their performance continues an impressive streak from 2024, where they lifted two major titles—the Esports World Cup and the Call of Duty League 2024 Major 2—alongside strong finishes in other events.

Atlanta FaZe's triumph in Madrid is yet another chapter in their legacy of dominance. With two titles already secured in 2025, they have set the tone for the rest of the season, and their competitors will need to step up if they hope to dethrone the reigning champions.
