A new update for 2XKO launched on November 18, featuring a new Learning Hub, champion balance adjustments for Teemo, Ekko, Blitzcrank, and Yasuo, plus important bug fixes across the game.

New Learning Hub and Early Player Experience

2XKO Patch 1.0.3 introduces the "Learning Hub," now accessible from the Play tab, consolidating early player tutorials and training modes such as Tutorial, Combo Trials, Advanced Lessons, and Training.

The new Bot Beatdown mode lets players face bots of increasing difficulty to earn champion chroma rewards. The Home screen now features a widget directing players to the Learning Hub, temporarily replacing the News hub.

Ranked Rewards for Season 0

Season 0 concludes with rewards based on the highest rank reached, including stickers and titles from Iron to Challenge (top 100 players per region). Players reaching Diamond or higher will also receive an exclusive avatar item, the Sleek Chevron Hoodie, awarded upon their first login after Season 1 starts.

Core System Changes and Bug Fixes

A few core rules were adjusted to improve gameplay flow:

  • Assists no longer collide after becoming invulnerable.
  • Parry's shockwave now affects the entire screen, ensuring physical attacks can be punished more reliably.

Various bug fixes include correct combo scaling on throws, fixes to blocking after mid-air Break whiffs, and improved champion animations for smoother and consistent interactions.

The champion balance tweaks aim to reduce unfair interactivity and skill disparity without major power shifts.

Ekko

Ekko

  • Nerfed assists: Chronostrike assist power lowered, increased startup frames, and reduced hitbox size to reduce its effectiveness and range.
  • Timewinder duration shortened with reduced blockstun and no longer triggers Proximity Guard.
  • Damage on mega Timewinder and Attempt #37 reduced.
  • Enlarged hurtbox for crouching Ekko.
  • Bug fixes for rewind and visual effects consistency.

Teemo

Teemo

  • Noxious Sweeper (Super Assist) easier to punish with increased hurtbox.
  • Mushrooms disappear if Teemo is hit.
  • Bandle Dash's frame advantage adjusted.
  • Bandle Sky Patrol Super damage and combo potential reduced.
  • Yordle Hike (mid-air) no longer allows solo combos on crouching opponents, hitbox lowered.
  • Several bug fixes including parachute slowfall and Noxious Surprise direction.

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank

  • Rocket Punch destroys projectiles more effectively with earlier hitbox.
  • Steam generation on Power Fist, Spinning Turbine, and Wrecking Ball increased.
  • Final hit of Wrecking Ball has increased block and hitstun for grounded opponents.
  • Bug fixes on Rocket Grab Assist and Steam Garbage Collection visuals.

Yasuo

Yasuo

  • Damage nerfs on Sever Wind and Steel Tempest follow-ups.
  • Mid-air E (Gale Blade) can no longer be canceled on block, with increased landing recovery frames.
  • Backward movement speed reduced; Calm stance backdash speed increased.
  • Gale Blade hurtbox enlarged; startup increased.
  • Storm Breaker Assist startup delayed.
  • Bug fixes on recovery frames and move list UI issues.

Quality of Life Updates

Controllers

  • New “Layouts” option allows profiles to save custom control schemes by input type, including defaults and custom configurations.

Bug Fixes and UI Improvements

  • Fixed disconnects, camera locking issues, guest player idle behavior, invisibility bugs, and Battle Pass XP display.
  • Improved keybinds system avoiding conflicts between accounts, proper gamepad input mapping, and fightstick options.
  • Enhancements to lobby chat, friend requests, notifications, and social panel accuracy.
  • Various UI fixes, audio fixes including removal of lingering sounds, and stability improvements.

New Skins and Store Additions

The Crime City Mega Bundle is available for a limited time, featuring Crime City Jinx, Darius, and Braum. Resistance Illaoi and Sandstorm Ekko skins will enter the rotating store pool starting November 26.

The 1.0.3 patch of 2XKO strengthens early-game learning with integrated content, balances top champions with finely tuned nerfs and buffs, and improves overall game stability and user interface, aiming for a more balanced and enjoyable 2XKO experience.
