Ninjas in Pyjamas was founded in 2000. Their League of Legends division came about with the acquisition of the Copenhagen Wolves roster in 2013. The original roster consisted of GodBro, Svenskeren, Bjergsen, TheTess, and Deficio. They competed in the European League of Legends circuit until 2018 when they went inactive.
