Red Bull Home Ground #5: Format, Schedule, Teams and More

One of the biggest and most popular off-season events, Red Bull Home Ground is once again upon us. With its fifth edition, the Red Bull team along with eight of the top teams worldwide will visit Berlin to crown this year’s Home Ground Champion. Starting today on the 21st of November, the event will run until the 24th, culminating in a Grand Finals.

Red Bull Home Ground #5 Format and Schedule

The fifth edition of Red Bull Home Ground will feature eight teams entering the competition featuring invited and qualified teams.

These eight teams will play in a Swiss bracket featuring Bo1 games for the first and second round, the third and final round will feature Bo3 games.

Only four out of the eight teams will survive the first stage to play a single elimination bracket Playoff.

The bracket will pair teams with a 2-0 record with teams with a 2-1 record. All the games in the Playoffs will feature a Bo3 game except for the finals which will be a Bo5.

The team that withstands the challenging stages and demanding opponents will be crowned the Red Bull Home Ground Champion.
