PGL has officially revealed that the next chapter in Counter-Strike history will unfold in Southeast Asia. The PGL Singapore Major 2026, the second Counter-Strike 2 Major of the year, will take place from November 25 to December 13, 2026, featuring 32 of the world’s best teams vying for a $1,250,000 prize pool.

Three Stages, One Champion

Just like every other Major, the event will feature three competitive stages, culminating in the final four days at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, one of Asia’s premier esports and live entertainment venues. Known for its cutting-edge design, the stadium can host up to 15,000 passionate Counter-Strike fans eager to witness who will claim the prestigious trophy.

PGL claims that it will maintain its reputation for excellence by delivering high-quality broadcasts, upholding fair play standards, and creating an authentic viewing experience that brings players and fans closer to the action than ever before.

The PGL Singapore Major 2026 will be PGL’s fifth Major overall, following its acclaimed events in Krakow (2017), Stockholm (2021), Antwerp (2022), and Copenhagen (2024). Interestingly, the three most-watched Counter-Strike events in history—Stockholm 2021, Antwerp 2022, and Copenhagen 2024—were all organized by PGL.

A New Region Takes the Spotlight

The Singapore Major holds extra significance as the first-ever Counter-Strike 2 Major in Southeast Asia, marking a major expansion of the game’s competitive footprint. For decades, Counter-Strike’s biggest stages have been rooted in Europe and North America. But now, PGL’s latest venture will spotlight Asia’s rapidly growing esports audience.

“Bringing the first Counter-Strike Major to Singapore is a moment that truly inspires us. This city has been home to some of our most memorable esports events, and we’ve always felt the energy and passion of the fans here. Returning now with a Counter-Strike Major feels like the natural next step.” –Silviu Stroie, CEO of PGL.

Tickets Coming Soon

Fans eager to experience the Major live can look forward to ticket sales opening in the coming months, with more details to be announced soon.
