The 2026 Overwatch World Cup marks the sixth edition of the tournament. The Group Stage runs from August 20-23 at the Busan Esports Arena in South Korea. The two‑day playoff stage follows a month later at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, as part of BlizzCon 2026.

How to Get Overwatch World Cup 2026 Esports Loot Boxes
Overwatch's Esports Loot Boxes are undeniably one of the most exciting parts of the tournament experience. While most other rewards can be obtained through other means, these Loot Boxes are available only through Overwatch esports events.
The Esports Loot Box skin pool is vast, featuring a wide variety of cosmetics, including the original Overwatch Contenders skins, limited releases like Thunder Doomfist and Zhulong Sombra, and Overwatch League team skins, among others.

Esports Loot Boxes are offered as the ultimate rewards on the first two days of OWWC 2026. On the subsequent days, however, the first Loot Box can be earned with less watch time.
Where to Watch OWWC 2026
Overwatch World Cup 2026 will be broadcast live on Blizzard's official channels across various streaming platforms. The tournament will kick off with the United Kingdom vs Mexico match on August 19 at 7 am PDT, or August 20 at 4 am CEST/ 11 am KST.
