LFL Summer
The LFL (La Ligue Française) Summer split is the second half of the annual League of Legends competitive season for France's top regional league. The LFL serves as the premier professional LoL competition in France and forms part of Riot Games' EMEA regional league system, feeding into higher-tier international events such as the EMEA Masters.
The Summer split typically runs in the middle of the calendar year and determines a significant portion of championship points toward qualifying for end-of-year events and EMEA Masters berths. Teams compete in a round-robin regular season followed by a playoff bracket. The LFL has long been one of the strongest non-major European regional leagues, producing competitive rosters and notable talent for the LEC and international play.
LFL Summer editions are generally played as a mix of studio (offline) matches in France and are broadcast with French-language talent, with additional coverage sometimes available through partner channels.
