ESL One: Rio 2020 Challengers Stage

ESL will be the host of the 16th Major in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive history, and the first of 2 in 2020. It's the first time that a major is hosted in Brazil. Featuring the top eight teams (“Legends”) from the previous major competing against eight “Challengers” decided by a qualifying round. The Major Qualifier (Challengers Stage) will include the seven teams eliminated in the group stage from the prior major, as well as the top eight teams identified through Regional Minor Championships. The winner goes home with $500,000 USD and the title of Major Champion.
